Why we like them

What caught our attention with Kaur Coffee Co. is how much thought seems to go into the details. They're serving the coffee shop favourites you'd expect, but alongside them you'll find single-origin cacao, organic ingredients where possible and a clear focus on quality and sustainability. Their use of La Marzocco equipment and biodegradable, plastic-lining-free cups is another example of the attention being paid behind the scenes. Then there's the mobile side of the business. Kaur Coffee can bring its coffee and cacao service to weddings, birthdays and other events, which gives the business something a little different from your typical local coffee shop. Customers appear to be responding positively too. At the time of checking, Kaur Coffee Co. has a 5.0 Google rating from 23 reviews, with feedback highlighting the coffee, service and the people behind the business. For us, Kaur Coffee Co. is a good example of what makes independent businesses interesting. There's a clear identity behind what they're doing, and they're building something that goes beyond simply serving another cup of coffee.

Why we like them

Royal Wedding Events stands out for the sheer variety of experiences it brings to celebrations. We particularly like the combination of interactive photo booths, dramatic entrance effects and creative dessert stations, which gives couples plenty of ways to personalise their event. Its Asian wedding food options, including gol guppa, samosa chaat and mango lassi, are another distinctive feature. The package structure is also appealing, allowing customers to choose a combination of services rather than booking everything individually. With a portfolio of event experiences and positive customer feedback, Royal Wedding Events is an interesting UK-wide business for anyone planning a celebration.

Floral Fusion caught our attention with its beautifully presented bouquets and distinctive luxury styling. We particularly like the elegant rose arrangements, coordinated wrapping and attention to presentation visible across its Instagram portfolio. The positive customer messages shared by the business are another encouraging sign, with buyers praising both the flowers and the service. For customers looking for a Sheffield florist with an eye for presentation, Floral Fusion is a lovely independent business to discover.
